Announcements

As many of you know, Hag Atelier has moved upstairs in the Case Goods Building to the fourth floor. I now have a beautfiul light filled studio with large work tables for my students. The new space allows extra wall space for me to work and a large storage area for my paintings. I also have alot more work to create large scale sculptures. For my students I have eight work stations, each with their own outlet and pan as well as storage area for the "regulars". There is also a sitting/library area with an overstuffed couch and funky chandelier. Please feel free to come up and have a tea. I teach on Wednesdays and Thursdays but am often working on my own projects on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Give me a call before you come by to make sure I am here: 416-271-7214.

More good news. As you can see, I am revamping my website, finally posting the my exhibits from the past few years. I will soon have Paypal on the site so you will be able to pay for workshops through my website. I hope to have it up and running by the beginning of March.

February will be a busy month. I am putting together a juried show for Propeller called The Black and White Ball.Exhibition Dates: February 16 - 27, 2011
Deadline for submission is February 4, 2011
Propeller is seeking works in black and white. All mediums and approaches are welcomed.
The exhibit is inspired by Truman Capote’s 1966, Black and White Ball, held at the Grand Ballroom of New York City's Plaza Hotel.  It was considered to be "the most posh event, not just of the year, but also of the decade, and maybe even the century"
Iconic, bitchy, mysterious, elegant...just some of the many adjectives used to describe the event, and the guests. Lets these inspire and engage you...

In conjunction Propeller will be hosting a Black and White reception, on Thursday, February 17 from 7 to 10 PM.
